A one-day, Saturday clinic at the ERC tank

Target audiences:
- Instructors for the high school indoor program
- Row for Kids instructors
- High School Teachers supervising program
- Very strongly suggested for all those coaching programs for the ERC (RFK, HS, LTR)
- ERC members and general public also welcomed

General
- Safety & appropriate clothing
- Emergency procedures
- Post-workout stretching
Ergs
- Warmup for the ergs
- Care of ergs
- Correct technique on ergs
- Drills on the ergs
Tank
- Terminology of sweeping, oar locks, blades, port, star, commands, seat numbering, counting off
- Care of tank equipment, heater, fan, cox box
- Correct sweeping technique in tank
    - Grip and use of inside/outside arms
    - Body position, catch angle, sequence (legs, back, arms)
    - Positioning of foot boards and slides related to body size
    - Warm-ups in the tank
    - Stroke: catch, drive, finish, recovery, feathering, squaring
    - Ratio & stroke rate, cox box
- Common faults of beginning rowers
- Skill drills for the tank
