We are still planning for the upcoming 2010 season, exact information are not available at this time. But here's some general information that should address some of the questions:

1. How often do classes run and how long do they run for?
Two sessions are offered per month, either Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs. They run for 3 weeks, 2x a week for a total of 6 lessons.
2. What time do classes start and end?
Classes typically start at 6:30pm and end around 8:30pm-9ish
3. Where are the classes held
Classes involve indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor portion is done in our indoor rowing tank. Outdoor is on the North Sasakatchewan River. Both indoor rowing tank and boathouse are located north of the Valley Zoo, at the south end of Laurier Park nearby the off-leash area.
4. Do I need to be a member to take these classes?
No, LTR classes are for everybody. Do note that the course fee can be credited towards full year ERC membership.
5. How much does it cost?
The cost per person for 2009 was $175.

Additionally, you may participate in rowing tour (day trip or weekend trip to the lakes in the Rockies like Maligne Lake, Morraine Lake) in the summer, depending on availability and interest.
9. I took LTR many years ago. Should I take LTR again?
Depends on how comfortable you are with your skills. Keep in mind that you course fee does go towards your ERC membership fee, so you won't be paying extra. If you are not comfortable jumping into the programs right away, you may take the course again and transit into other programs afterwards.
